Diagrid's Community Series: Jennifer
Up next in our community series, we're excited to shine a light on a nonprofit organization that holds a special place in the heart of one of Diagrid's team members. Family Serve is a family-run 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to strengthen communities through acts of kindness and faith. They support San Diego by providing food to 60-70 people weekly and hosting a girls club called King's Daughters. They also organize youth camps and outreach programs. Family Serve extends its work to New Orleans and Baja California, offering Thanksgiving meals, supplies, and support to local communities. Jennifer McCain and her family lead these efforts as volunteers, ensuring that all donations go directly to community support.
One of Our Partners
Our presence matters to the girls we reach through our partners at Family Serve, led by Jennifer McCain. Family Serve feeds at-risk girls in the 9th Ward every Thanksgiving and with each meal they give a girl a magazine to feed her soul as well!
This year Family Serve also reached girls in the inner city of San Diego and they plan on delivering magazines to girls in South Africa, Liberia and Palestine in 2022.
